REMOTE | FIRST GENERATION

The Phantom Premier and Phantom Reactor first-generation remote control allows you to control the volume of your Phantom / Reactor or your room via Spark or the Devialet App. Its use is very simple. This remote control only works with Phantom Premier and Phantom Reactor.

If you want to get information about the size of the remote control or its weight etc... then please visit the page dedicated to the remote control here.

1. How to pair the Phantom Remote?

Remote controls the volume with absolute precision and extreme sensory movement. Its use is very simple:

  • Please remove the plastic tab of your Remote.
  • Wait until the light stops flashing.
  • Hold your Remote upside down over one of your Phantom / Reactor to pair it.
  • When your Remote is paired, the Phantom / Reactor will move its membranes and emit an audible signal.

You can now control the volume of your Phantom / Reactor system from Remote.

Note: In an installation with two Phantom Premier or Phantom Reactor configured in the same room the remote control will control the volume of your Phantom / Reactor pair.

Note: In a multi-product configuration, your remote control will only be able to change the volume of the Phantoms in the same room.

Below is a video to show you how it is done:

2. What do the LED signals mean on the Remote?

If the light blinks 4 times: it means your Remote is not paired with your Phantom.

If the light pulses slowly: it means your Remote is paired with your Phantom

If the light fades slowly: it means that batteries in your Remote are low. You will need to change them soon.

3. FAQ

My Remote no longer controls the volume of my Phantom Premier and Phantom Reactor system or has just disconnected.

First, try brand new batteries, then please follow the below instructions:

With Spark under DOS 1

You have a Dialog:

  • Close Spark
  • Unplug your Dialog from power during 10 secs.
  • Replug the Dialog and wait till the backlight is not flashing anymore
  • Pair again your Remote to your Phantom (by placing it on top of the Phantom for a few seconds). The Phantom will react once the pairing is complete
  • Re-open Spark, play a track and check if the Remote is now controlling again the volume of your Phantom

If you do not have a Dialog in your system, please follow the next instructions:

  • Close your app
  • Unplug from the power outlet your Phantom for a few seconds.
  • Plug back your Phantom to the power outlet
  • Wait few seconds, Phantom won't show any reaction
  • Re-open your app and enjoy your music

With the Devialet app under DOS 2

Just one speaker

  1. Disconnect the Phantom for 30 seconds
  2. Remove the batteries from the Remote
  3. Reconnect the Phantom and wait 2 minutes
  4. Put the batteries back in the Remote
  5. Try the Phantom or Reactor/remote pairing again
  6. If it doesn't work, contact Devialet customer service

Several speakers

  1. If you have a Dialog, unplug it for 30 seconds. If you don't have a dialog, unplug all Phantom / Reactor
  2. Remove the batteries from the remote
  3. Reconnect ONLY ONE Phantom or Reactor and wait 2 minutes.
  4. Put the batteries back in the remote
  5. Try the pairing between the connected product and the remote again.
  6. If it does not work, contact Devialet customer service. If it works, you can reconnect the rest of the speakers.

I'm not able to connect my Remote

Batteries could be empty. The blue light should fade slowly which means that the batteries need to be changed.

  • Change the batteries (as shown in the aside picture)
  • Pair your remote to your Phantom (Phantom will react during the pairing process)
  • Turn up and down the volume while playing a track to see if Phantom is reacting to the Remote.

If this is not changing the Phantom reaction while you are turning up and down the remote, then we suggest you reboot your Dialog or make a full reset of your system and see if this is resolving the issue.

If you are still facing issues with your Remote and system, please reach out to our customer service team.

3. FAQ

I have 2 black dots on the left and right of the remote control, is this normal?

  • This is indeed normal for the second-generation Remote, two little black dots are under the glass.

Can I pair one remote to two Phantoms at the same time?

  • This is only possible if these 2 Phantoms are in stereo pair. The remote will then control the volume of the pair. It is not possible to pair a Remote to several rooms/pairs.

Can I pair 2 Remote with 1 Phantom at the same time?

  • This is not possible.
