I JUST OPENED MY DEVIALET MANIA PRODUCT, BUT I CAN'T SWITCH IT ON. WHY IS THE LED LIGHT NOT ACTIVATING?
The first switching on of Devialet Mania will be triggered when you will connect your Devialet Mania to the power outlet. You will need to plug it into the power outlet and wait for the product to wake up (which should take just a few seconds).
I NEED TO CONNECT DEVIALET MANIA TO A FRIEND'S WIFI - HOW CAN I DO THAT?
You can use the "Force Setup" function to install your Devialet Mania on another network without erasing the prior installation.
This way Devialet Mania will connect to WiFi at home and in other places.
To activate the "Force Setup", please follow steps below:
- Switch on Devialet Mania by making a short press on the Switch On Button (if it is in standby mode)
- Wait for Devialet Mania to reboot if it was in standby mode
- Make a long press on the PLAY/PAUSE button
- Devialet Mania will make a sound to acknowledge the "Force Setup" and its main LED will turn green.
- Open Devialet APP and make a regular setup from there.
NOTE: Devialet Mania can stock till 8 differents WiFi settings.
I CANNOT CONNECT DEVIALET MANIA TO MY WIFI - WHY CAN’T DEVIALET MANIA JOIN MY NETWORK?
This issue occurs when you are using a specific security protocol with your WiFi's password. The WEP security protocol is not compatible with Devialet Mania, as this does not offer the same level of security as a newer protocol such as WPA or WPA2.
To enable Devialet Mania to join your network, you will need to use a WPA or WPA 2 security protocol on your wifi. To modify your router protocol, please reach out to your Internet Service Provider.
THERE IS A MESSAGE ON DEVIALET APP WHEN I'M PLUGGING TO THE POWER OUTLET DEVIALET MANIA - IT SAYS "CHARGER NOT SUPPORTED"
This message means that the charging cable you are currently using is not adapted to Devialet Mania. We strongly recommend using the cable included in the Devialet Mania box.
AM I ABLE TO PAIR A REMOTE WITH A DEVIALET MANIA?
Yes, you can pair a Remote to Devialet Mania.
To pair a Remote to Devialet Mania, you will need to put your speaker on Bluetooth discovery mode. To switch this mode on, just make a long press on the Bluetooth button till the LED is getting blue.
Pairing mode is available for a short period of time.
HOW CAN I PAIR DEVIALET MANIA WITH BLUETOOTH?
Devialet Mania is a Bluetooth speaker and can be paired via Bluetooth with a mobile device, tablet, or computer.
Press and hold the Bluetooth Button on Devialet Mania until the LED turns blue (located on the other side).
HOW CAN I IDENTIFY THE LEVEL OF BATTERY THAT REMAINS ON DEVIALET MANIA?
When pressing the Devialet button (circle with a inner circle - 🔘 ), on the opposite side you will see the led reaction

WHAT HAPPENS IF I SWITCH OFF THE MICS?
A red LED will be activated to show when the microphones are disabled. This LED is visible on the side where the toggle is. If you disable all LEDs from the APP this is the only LED which will remain active.
If you switch off the microphones via the toggle button this will:
- Disable first Alexa,
- Disable the real-time acoustic mapping (ASC)
If you only need to remove Alexa you can also disable it:
- Through Devialet APP (in the Mania settings, Voice assistant, Disable Alexa)
This option will not affect the ASC real-time acoustic mapping.
If you need to only disable the real-time acoustic mapping only you can do it through the APP (in the Mania settings, Active Stereo Calibration)
N.B.: If you disable the real time acoustic mapping via the APP the prior setting of the ASC will be kept even if you move the speaker.
CAN I PLAY DEVIALET MANIA WITH A PHANTOM I, PHANTOM II, DEVIALET DIONE OR A SECOND DEVIALET MANIA?
Devialet Mania is a standalone product with built-in stereo capabilities, so there is no need to combine it with another device. It is also designed to be a portable product so it has to be simple to transport and play. So Devialet Mania can’t be combined with Phantom I / Phantom II, Devialet Dione or another Devialet Mania.
As all of our products are Airplay 2 certified, you can still use Airplay to stream music to several devices at once such as Devialet Mania, and a Phantom II stereo pair, for example.
N.B: This is only possible via an iOS device and through Airplay. With this protocol, our Devialet APP will have limited functionality. For example, you won't be able to change devices/rooms via the Devialet APP, but you will be able to change volume per room within Devialet APP.
HOW CAN THE PRODUCT BE TURNED OFF?
You can turn the product off with the OFF button. If the product is not plugged into an electrical outlet, and there is no music for 90 minutes, it will turn off by itself (press any button to restart - Devialet Mania will make a sound to confirm when it has booted).
HOW CAN I TRANSPORT THE PRODUCT?
If you need to transport the product in a safe way, please use the speaker's bag that was included in the box, and use the regular product box. Inside the product box, there is a security foam which can possibly lead to marks on the Devialet Mania’s cloth. The speaker bag has been designed to avoid this.
CAN I USE THE CABLE TO PLAY MUSIC ON DEVIALET MANIA?
The USB-C port on Devialet Mania is only made for charging the product. You cannot play audio from a wired source via the USB-C port in the Devialet Mania.
CAN DEVIALET MANIA PLAY IN STEREO?
Yes, Devialet Mania is natively stereo with its Cross-stereo architecture. Therefore there is no need to multiply the number of Devialet Mania to get a stereo image, as one Devialet Mania will deliver you a stereo image and truly immersive listening.

I cannot find my Devialet Mania on my MacBook
If you are unable to find Devialet Mania in your Macbook’s list of available bluetooth devices, it might be because your Mac does not have the correct codecs activated.
Another issue might be that you find your Devialet Mania in the list, but you can’t pair the device.
In both those cases, you can find a tutorial here to change your Mac’s codecs to Bluetooth AAC. If you do not feel comfortable doing this yourself, the Apple support group can guide you.
