Release Notes - DOS 2.8.5

This version includes the following fixes:

Fix of "Cathedral effect"

In some Phantom Premier stereo setups, synchronisation loss between left and right channels could create a feeling of echo, volume disparity between the channels, or, in some cases, complete loss of sound on one of the channels.

Fix of AirPlay failure in certain setups

AirPlay on Dialogs and AirPlay on stereo pairs consisting of one AirPlay compatible and one non-Airplay compatible Phantom Premier could fail.

Notes

These issues were observed by a small number of customers. Hence, we have decided to prepare a quick hotfix for affected setups. It is available on demand only. If you believe your products may have the issue, please contact our customer support. Once you have provided the serial numbers of your devices, the new version will be made available for you as a regular over-the-air update.

This version is also installed automatically in all Phantom Premier that are currently being upgraded from Devialet OS 1 (starting today, November 29, 2019).

All those fixes will be included in the next major update for DOS (DOS 2.9).
