How can I update my Phantom Reactor
To update your Phantom Reactor, you will need to:
- Open the Devialet Application
- Go into Settings
- Click on "System Update"
Or look at the below video:
What is the AV sync option and how to access it?
We put into the apps a new setting to reduce the latencies into Reactor for all physical inputs.
To acces the option please the steps here
- Open the Devialet Application
- Select the Room/Device
- Click on the device parameters
- Toggle on the option AV Sync
Or look at the below video:
Note: In a Stereo setup, if you had modified the latency into one of your Reactor, please apply the same latency into the second Reactor, to avoid any difference between the left and right channel.
Note: If you are facing strange sound delivery from the optical/jack input, we recommend you to modify the latencies from your Reactor via the "AV Sync" menu.
Can I modify the communication mode between 2 Reactor set in Stereo?
When 2 Reactor are installed in Stereo, they are sharing their streaming flow together via different embedded protocol such as PLC, Ethernet or Wifi.
If you are not using them in Ethernet, the default protocol is PLC which sometime can be obstructed by other device connected to your powerline, to workaround this, please follow instruction below
Note: if you are changing the protocol please select the same protocol into both devices, otherwise you will face some strange sound behavior from your Reactor.
To acces this option please follow instruction on the below video:
Can I stream from a laptop or a desktop?
Our app is only available for a mobile (Android & IOS), to make a complete setup, it's then required to start with your mobile.
Once the setup is complete, you can then use the Bluetooth or the Airplay to stream music, which means you can control the device via this protocol from a PC or a MAC.
Note: Full control still remains within the app devialet, such as a very precise volume control, switch from a streaming source to another, and trigger in the Jack/optical
