Our Phantom system can use multiple ways to communicate between each device within the system — Dialog provides this communication protocol, so it's way to communicate with all other items of your system is really key to ensure a steady and smooth transition of the information.
1. What are the communication protocols used between all devices? When you have a Dialog in your setup, your Phantom will use a specific way to talk with the rest of the system and the Dialog. This information is visible when you go into Spark (steps are available in the the video on the side):
Below are the definitions of the protocols available in Phantom:
All these different protocols can be mixed up into the same installation and between rooms in Spark.
However sometimes these communication protocols can influence into the sound delivery of your Phantom system. Spark and Dialog have specific intelligence to use the most performing protocol for each device in the system, but sometime it's not the most appropriate.
As Dialog is very central in the Phantom System when there is more than 1 Phantom, it's very important to ensure the Dialog box being as close as much possible to all devices.
In fact Dialog is creating its own network and protocol to talk with other devices, while it’s receiving your music instruction from your domestic Wi-Fi (your Phone is passing instruction to your internet router via its Wi-Fi, which will then pass it to Dialog via the Ethernet cable).

2. How to stabilize my 2 Phantoms if they are set in the same roomIn case you are facing strange behavior from your Phantom (One Phantom disconnecting or disappearing, or a drop off of sounds) here are the steps you can use to solve out this issue. First look at all to the connectivity protocols used by all your Phantoms as shown in the following video on the side.
A. Refresh your Dialog connection
B. Refresh your Routeur Connectivity
C. Force your Phantom to communicate in PLC
D. Strenghen your wifi signalSometimes Dialog has some difficulties to transport information to your system or even to receive information from your source (such as Phone, Tablet or Computer), this is due to the wifi signal transmitted by your internet router There are recommendations on how to set an additional router to strenghen your domestic wifi. Extending your wifi signal will strenghen it and make your system more reliable. Details are available in the article here To setup this option you can consult our Customer care.
E. You are still facing issue with your system while playingOn Spark there is a way to reach our customer care and at the same time capture all technical aspect of your system connectivity, to do so, please follow the instructions below:

3. Scenarios with 2 or more Phantom in a different roomsIn this chapter, all steps described will give you all tips to ensure a smooth communication between several Phantoms set in differents rooms. Look first at all to the connectivities use by all your Phantom as shown in the aside video.
A. Refresh your Dialog connection
B. Refresh your Routeur Connectivity
