Quick Guide for Devialet App

This article will help you understand how the Devialet App works with Devialet Phantom Ultimate.

 

The Devialet App is designed for Devialet devices operating on DOS 2 or later. Devialet Phantom Ultimate ships with DOS 3 pre-installed.

 

Devialet OS 3

Devialet Operating System 3 or (DOS3) is our latest version of  Devialet software. Previous generations of devices are still managed with our initial operating system (DOS2).

 

Devialet App utilisation:

The Devialet App is available for iOS and Android devices. It allows you to:   

  • Install the speaker
  • Update and check the firmware version of your speaker
  • Adjust the volume
  • Select the audio source
  • Adjust the latency of your speaker
  • Adjust the EQ
  • Reduce bass frequencies with night mode
  • Network Settings
  • Activate Audio protocols (Bluetooth, Spotify Connect, Optical)
  • Set Power modes

 

Login

 

After downloading the app for the first time, you’ll be prompted to log in to your account. This step is required. Please make sure to use the same email address that you used to create your account on DDevialet website.6710c66d89ed40fc76434117.jpeg

Home

 

After logging in, the app will display the home screen. Press "set up a product" to set up Devialet Phantom Ultimate.

The wheel icon in the top left corner allows you to access the APP Settings menu.

The app will detect the Devialet product pending a setup. Press "configure now"

App Settings

 

By clicking wheel icon in the top left corner, you are now at app general settings page.

The app general settings screen will have:

  • My products: to see your registered devices on their account
  • My account: to see your account information
  • System updates: to check if a firmware update is available
  • Help: to contact the customer care service
  • Rate the app: to leave a review
  • About: to get the app version information

Room Page 

CONFIGURING THE ROOM:

 

    
When you click on an installed Phantom(s) , this page is displayed.

  • Logo of the source
  • Quality of the content
  • Name of the content
  • Equalizer option
  • Night mode: An overlay for audio modes that minimizes disturbances in quiet environments by reducing bass and smoothing volume using Bass Reducer and AVL
  • Mute
  • Mode: you can select 1 of 3 "presets" mode. You can customize each of these modes in the settings later

 The following functions are only for online sources & bluetooth:

  • Previous song
  • Play / Pause song
  • Next song

Speaker Advanced Menu

 

If you click on the Phantom settings logo (the wheel icon in the top right corner on Room page), this screen will be displayed. It lists information and customization options on the device: 

  • Change the name
  • Create a stereo pair
  • Access audio modes customization
  • Activate the night mode: Lower the bass level
  • Monitoring: Get a flat acoustic frequency response
  • Power mode: access the power mode customization
  • LED: activate the LED when the product is on

  • Optical auto-switch
  • Latency control:Adjust your audio buffer for better stereo stability
  • Information
  • Power button
