I have music purchased on iTunes between 2003 and 2009 with DRM

When you have music purchased between 2003 and 2009, these files are protected by DRM (Digital Rights Management). Spark doesn't have access to these files, so it is not able to play them directly on a Phantom system.

After 2009, Apple took off the DRM from all the music on iTunes.

Here are 2 solutions to solve the problem:

  • You can subscribe to iTunes Match, which can synchronise all your music on iCloud. Once all your music is synchronised, you can delete all your files with DRM then download them again without DRM. To locate your DRM files, you only need to add "kind" to your view of music.

  • You can also use the free solution from iTunes, you need to go to iTunes settings and Store tab, then click "Show iTunes in the Cloud Purchases"

Then go to the iTunes Match page and click on "iTunes in the Cloud"
