How to match the Phono input with your cartridge specifications

Through Devialet's Online Configuration tool, you can precisely set the Phono stage's input-characteristics to match your cartridge. Retrieve your cartridge specifications and input the following values:

  • Cartridge type: Moving Magnet or Moving Coil
  • Output Voltage
  • Impedance Load
  • Capacitance Load. Note that very few cartridges require a capacitance load.

We advise you to set the RIAA curve to 1976 (inc. a 20Hz bass roll-off) and to leave the sampling frequency to 96kHz as it gives the best signal-to-noise values.

There is additionally a more easier way to update your Phono stage parameter on-the-fly via our RAM menu available directly from your expert amp.

  • Select the phono source
  • Short press on the tone time, to access the RAM menu.
  • Select the EQ curves to fit your best during your listening session
